The town of Padiham lies 25 miles north of Manchester, 3 miles west of Burnley and 7 miles east of Blackburn.

BY ROAD:

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT:

This tends to be more difficult if you are coming from far.  Some suggestions:

TRAIN AND BUS:

There are fast train links to Manchester Piccadilly and to Preston.

From Manchester Piccadilly Rail station, walk to the EZ stop in nearby Chorlton Street and board the X43 bus to Burnley Bus Station (this journey takes about 1 hour 20 minutes).   Several buses go from Burnley Bus Station to Padiham (ask for  Memorial Park stop), including the 20, 26, 46 and 152 (which runs to Preston).

From Preston Rail Station catch a train to Burnley Manchester Road station (33  minute journey), from here walk down to the main Burnley Bus Station and catch a bus to Padiham (as above).    Alternately from Preston Rail Station, walk to its main bus station and catch a 152 bus to Padiham (ask for Memorial Park stop) -- this bus  journey lasts about 1 hour 20 minutes.
